Father/Daughter Bonding Day - A Workshop for dads (or other important male) and daughters in Grades 4-7
1 - 4 p.m.
As a parent, you want the best for your children so they have happy, healthy lives. The relationships that parents forge with their kids are just as important as proper nutrition for long-term, overall health. This is especially true of the unique bond between fathers and daughters. Often, as the first man present in a young girl's life, fathers have a special responsibility to model respect, openness, and appreciation toward their daughters. By letting your daughter know she's valued and loved, you can establish a positive precedent for her subsequent male relationships, and one of the best ways to do that is by spending time with her. F.D.B.D. is an opportunity to spend an afternoon interacting with your daughter in a meaningful and positive way while engaging in a variety of fun activities. The event will feature workshops in communication, hands-on activities, and goal setting, as well as a keynote speaker. Cost: $20 per family.
For more information on any of the above camps, clinics or workshops, please call the Admissions Office at 834-2101, ext. 311.
