Shadow Day We welcome 8th grade girls to Shadow for a Day. Students will be paired with a ninth or tenth grade girl (either someone you request or who shares similar interests) and attend classes, go to lunch, meet faculty and staff, and learn more about being a SHA girl. Entrance Exam Prep Course, Saturdays - October 21, 28 and November 4 from 9 am - 12 noon
This three-week prep course is designed to familiarize 8th grade girls with the Catholic High School Entrance Exam including test taking strategies in both English and Math. The cost is $75 and includes the Peterson's review book. The course is closed.
After December 1, the Catholic High School Entrance Exam will be offered on an individual basis. Once you have submitted the Catholic High School application, we will arrange a mutually convenient day and time.
Register to take the exam by submitting the
CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL APPLICATION
Print out the confirmation email, sign and bring to your daughter’s guidance office. The guidance counselor will forward us the required documents (final report cards from 6th, 7th grades and first quarter grades from 8th grade, and past standardized testing, when available). Students who select Sacred Heart Academy as their first choice will receive a confirmation of their application along with scholarship and financial aid information. Students who select Sacred Heart as their second choice or third choice will also be considered for admission and must submit a letter of recommendation.

Apply for Scholarships and/or Financial Aid
Students who list Sacred Heart Academy as their first choice school will be eligible to apply for scholarships and/or financial aid. The financial aid application (FAST) can be found
here. Scholarship applications will be emailed to first choice families.
Acceptance Letters Mailed
Letters of Acceptance, along with scholarship & financial aid notification will be mailed on on January 18, 2024. Students who apply after this date will be accepted on a rolling basis.
Enroll your Daughter
Submit your $500 tuition deposit and enrollment forms by Monday, January 29, 2024, to confirm your daughter's spot as a member of the Class of 2028.
Step 8 - Attend Registration
Register as a member of the Class of 2028.

What do we consider for acceptance into SHA? Our overall goal is to have each student be successful at Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart. In order to achieve that, we consider the following for admission:
- Scores from the High School Placement Test
- Final grades from 6, 7 and 8 (1st quarter)
- Past standardized testing (when available)
- Letter of recommendation
