AP U.S. HISTORY
  • Assignment: Students will have a summer Schoology course page created by 7/5 where they can see the AP summer assignment and access and submit work. An email will be sent out with more information. The assignment will consist of reading and writing about the first two time periods of the course.
HONORS US HISTORY
  • Assignment: Honors US students will have a summer Schoology course page created by 7/5. An email will be sent out when it is open. The assignment will involve reading and writing about the early topics of the course.

  • Assignment: Students will be reading Ovid's Heroides and Horace's Odes and Epodes this summer. Students should pick these textbooks up in the front office no later than July 1st. AP GOVERNMENT
IB CLASSICAL LATIN (seniors)
  • Assignment: Students should be working on researching, collecting evidence for, and writing their internal assessments. Students should revisit their Action Sheet for a link to the document with the two tables they will need to complete as part of their IA research this summer. One table is for secondary source research, and the other is for collecting their primary sources. By July 31st, students should have 1.) completed both tables according to the directions outlined in the document, and 2.) and have contacted Ms. Tuminno to schedule a check-in meeting during August on Zoom. Please keep an eye out for emails from Ms. Tuminno this summer for more information.
IB FRENCH SL (seniors)
  • Assignment: Students going into the second year of French IB, should find some sort of reading they find interesting in French (blog, news articles e.g. the United Nations, BBC Mundo, French-language newspapers) and read several articles that they will share with the class at the beginning of the school year.  Make sure to send the URL to Dr. Horohoe.  They should also share their Word Journal from the first year with Dr. Horohoe as soon as possible. Find someone with whom they can frequently talk in French. Try to talk daily in French.
IB SPANISH SL (seniors)
