Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart's annual golf tournament bears the name of one of its founders, Sister Maria Pares '58. With the assistance of Mary Ruth Leberer Haberman '57 and Patty Haberman '80, Sister Maria had a vision to gather alumnae, parents, students and other friends of Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart, in fun and fellowship to support the need for temporary economic assistance for families enduring unexpected financial crisis. All proceeds from our tournament are used to assist SHA families in paying tuition when help is needed most.
The Sister Maria Pares Golf Tournament welcomes golfers to participate in an 18-hole scramble and invites non-golfers to support the event by joining us at the luncheon or serving as a sponsor. All activities take place at Glen Oak Golf Club. The event is open to alumnae, parents, past parents and friends of SHA. Prizes will be awarded for the top ladies' foursome, gentlemen's foursome and mixed foursome. Learn more and register here!
