Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart is blessed to have many talented athletes. We celebrate the accomplishments of these women and friends of the Academy through the special honors conferred at our biannual Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Selection of award winners is very competitive, and providing detailed nomination information helps greatly in the process.

Award Categories include:

Student-Athletes

Awarded to Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart alumnae who graduated at least ten (10) years ago. The candidate must have been a member of the sport for which she is being nominated and earned the respect of her coach and teammates for her athletic ability, leadership, or strived to the best of her ability. The candidate must have made a positive impact on the team(s) for which she played, including demonstrated athletic achievement, exemplary leadership qualities and character, and/or a significant contribution to the community. 

Coach/Administrator

Awarded to a Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart coach or staff member who had a positive impact on the athletic program at the Academy and students. The nominee shall have demonstrated an ability to enhance the athletic experience of the student-athlete, while serving as a positive role model through exemplary leadership and character.

Friends of Athletics

Awarded to those who have enhanced the experience of student-athletes at Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart through their support. The candidate shall have volunteered their time, expertise, or resources in support of Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart's Athletic Program.

Team

Awarded to Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart teams that have attained local or regional prominence in their sport.
