Scholarships
Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart provides academic scholarships to incoming 9th graders through the generosity of donors including alumnae, friends of SHA, the Sisters of St. Francis, and past and present parents.

Scholarship awards are based on performance on the entrance exam, overall scholastic achievement, teacher recommendation, the scholarship application, and demonstration of academic potential. Financial need is not a factor for merit based scholarships. All scholarships are renewable annually provided the recipient is in good academic standing and demonstrates commendable conduct. Scholarships may be supplemented with financial aid to meet a student’s need.

A one- time alumna credit is given to incoming students who have a mother, sister or grandmother who graduated from one of the following schools: Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart, Holy Angels Academy, Immaculata Academy, Villa Maria Academy or Niagara Catholic.
Financial Aid
Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart is committed to providing financial assistance to families with demonstrated economic need. To be considered for financial aid, incoming families must submit a  FAST application and the required documentation. Through our mission, we attempt to meet a percentage of a family’s demonstrated need. However, we expect that each family will consider all their resources when applying for aid.

Financial aid is awarded annually to account for changes in economic status, and therefore, families must reapply for financial aid each year. Notice of financial aid awards will be mailed with acceptance letters.
