How is it being in an all-girls school like SHA?

It is really nice being in an all-girls school because you don't have to worry about people judging you based on what you look like because we all look the same in our uniforms!

Have you tried anything new as a student at SHA?

I have joined new activities since starting at SHA including Yoga Club and Book Club.  I love them both!

What is your favorite thing about SHA?

My favorite thing about SHA is the community.  I love walking into the building and knowing that I have such a supportive group of friends and teachers.  I feel like I can talk to any girl at SHA even if I don't know her well.

How is it being at an all-girls school like SHA?

The community is very welcoming and makes you feel at home.  The friends I've made here are one of the best things about SHA.

Have you tried anything new as a student at SHA?

I have tried sailing, which I love even though I'm not very good at it yet.  I also started to play my clarinet again.  Having a music lesson during school hours make me feel more comfortable playing because I don't have to worry about squeezing it in after school.

Have you made new friends since you came to SHA?

Coming to SHA by myself I really had to make new friends, but I never expected to meet so many new people and to become such good friends with them, including girls who are not in my grade.

Have you made new friends since you came to SHA?

At first, I only knew one other girl from my old school.  However, because SHA creates so many opportunities to mix with other girls from my class, I now have a variety of friends living all over.  I know that I will always have someone who has my back, whether it be in high school or in the future.

Activities: Anime Club, Chamber Singers, Cooking for a Cause, Franciscan Scholar, Mock Trial, SHA Musicals: "The Pajama Game" and "Nunsense", Science Olympiad, and Writer's Club

How is it being in an all-girls school like SHA?

Being in an all-girls school helps me focus on my school work.  There are less distractions.  You can come as you are and not worry about your appearance.

Activities: Basketball - I have been playing all four years at SHA.
