Being surrounded by other positive young ladies helps eliminate any unnecessary distractions.  I am receiving the best education, while building friendships that I know will last a lifetime.

Being at an all girls school, you can be yourself and not have to worry about putting on a "mask". I enjoy coming to school everyday and the relationships with my friends and the teachers are like no other. At Sacred Heart, the teachers are understanding and care for each individual student. They want to help you do well and will spend extra time with you. SHA is my family away from home, someplace that will help me grow as an individual but still lend a helping hand. The girls at SHA inspire and encourage each other to do well academically. It's going to be hard leaving SHA for college, but it's still nice to know we're always welcome back to visit.

Activities: Varsity Cheerleader (Capt.), Cooking for a Cause, Cheer Camp, Afghanistan Coalition, Stage Crew, Polish Club, St Joe’s Ski Club, NHS. I help run the SHArk Shop and work in the  Main Office after school.

St Mary’s, Swormville

There is no other school where I saw the amount of school spirit and pride expressed the way SHA does. Whether it's during Spirit Week or just singing the Wiggle-O after a school assembly, I can feel such a strong sense of community that comes from within the girls who truly love this school as much as I do.

Activities: I am involved in Environmental Club, the Raven (literary magazine), French/Spanish Club, Cooking for a Cause, School Planning Team, and Franciscan Scholars. I am also in the St. Joe's Swing Choir.

I have made so many new friends at SHA that I know I'll be friends with forever. My favorite thing about SHA is how there is such a family atmosphere the moment you walk in the door.

Activities: I am on the basketball, volleyball, and softball teams at SHA.

Nativity of our Lord

I knew SHA was a good fit for me because it is such a warm and friendly place.  I was able to make friends right away because of all the activities available to freshwomen.  I feel that the leadership skills and service to community that SHA focuses on will help me grow as a person and help me build my future.  From the moment I walked in the door, I felt that SHA was the school for me.

Activities:

I plan to get involved in Ski Club and softball. I currently play on the JV volleyball team.

Being at an all-girls school keeps the stress of school and a social life separate, and allows people to be themselves without worrying about what boys or anyone else thinks. Everyone at Sacred Heart is friendly and cares about both the school and the people in it. We are not afraid to show our school spirit, which makes for a learning environment that is also fun to be in. Girls here do not judge others for being themselves.

Activities: Mock Trial, Torch (student newspaper), Chamber Singers (SHA’s select choir), Franciscan Scholars (for honors students)

I have made tons of new friends since I've come to SHA. I don’t know what I would do without them.  No matter where you go, or what class you're in, you always feel welcome.

Activities: The SHA musical, “Annie,” and I am in charge of the sound for masses and assemblies.

I have made many friends at SHA. Everyone is friendly and easy to get along with so it’s hard not to make friends here. I like an all girls school because I personally feel as if I work harder without the distraction of males.

As I prepare to graduate, I know that my favorite thing about SHA has been the people. Both the students and teachers are amazing. I love being surrounded by friendly people, and it makes an ordinary school day much better.

Activities: I am an active member of Diversity Club and Stage Crew.
