Walkathon email sample for SHA students

As a SHA student, Walkathon is a great way for you to exercise leadership in support of SHA! Each student is asked to raise $125 for Walkathon, and funds raised support our students, class treasuries and community service projects that are spearheaded by SHA students. What could be more empowering than that?
 
Due to restrictions related to social distancing, we know that SHA girls may not be interacting with as many people this year, and therefore it might be a little tougher to solicit those Walkathon donations. However, we have set up online fundraising so that you can email a link to all of your supporters, inviting them to help!
 
Here is some sample text that you may want to include when emailing friends or family members asking for support:
 
"Dear <<Name of friend or family member>>
As you know, I am a student at Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart. SHA has helped me meet amazing friends and gain an awesome education. Students like me will be participating in a Walkathon on October 9, and I would love to have you sponsor my walk! You can make an online donation using this link: https://www.sacredheartacademy.org/apps/pages/Walkathon. Please make sure to indicate that your gift is towards my fundraising goal!
 
Thank you for supporting me and my school!
