The January Exam Schedule has been emailed to students& parents and is also posted in Parent Reminders.  Please see below for a few important notes:

Attendance – students who do not have a scheduledexam do not need to come to school.

Dress Code – students do not need to be inuniforms for exams, but they do need to follow the dress code for

Non-Uniform Days as noted on page 28 of the StudentHandbook (available on our website under the Student tab). 

Buses & After Exam Pick Up – During exams thedistrict buses will do their usual morning pick up and will depart SHA at 11:45am OR 3 pm as noted on the exam schedule (we are allowed one pick up perday).  Alternate transportationarrangements may be necessary for some students depending on their examschedule.  Buffalo Metro riders will havetheir school passes honored during Regents Exams as the drivers are awarestudents may be riding at off hours. Students who are picked up after school need to be picked up as close tothe time of their exams being over as possible. During January Exams we are scheduled for the following district buspick up time of 11:45 am (1/22-1/24).

PLEASE contact your local school district transportationoffice and let them know if a student will not need their district bus or willnot be taking the bus in the morning but will be taking it in theafternoon.  This will help them greatlyso they are not sending a bus if one is not necessary.  District transport. office numbers are listedbelow.

NYS Regents Exam Start Times - As a reminder, SHAbegins the NYS Regents exams 1 hour & 15 minutes earlier than the timelisted on the NYS Education Dept. website for the Regents Exam schedule.Morning Regents exams will begin at 8 am & afternoon exams will begin at 12noon.

Exam Conflicts – Student with exam conflictsshould speak with Mrs. Wietig asap.

Cafeteria – The Cafeteria will be closed duringexams.
