SHA Has 3 Senior Scholar-Athlete Winners

The Buffalo News announced their 2011 Spring All-WNY Scholar-Athlete Team on June 18. Three Sacred Heart Seniors were among the 170 students selected from the 100-plus public, Catholic, and private schools in Western NY.

SHA's Super Seniors are two-time winner Krissy Russo (Spring-softball, Winter-basketball), Tori Kreuz (lacrosse), and Shin-Yuan (Clara) Wu (tennis). To be nominated for this honor, students must have carried a 90 plus average for the previous six semesters and been a starter or significant player in their sport. SHA's 3 Super Seniors further challenged themselves by taking Advanced Placement courses.
