Empty Bowls Project
Another "Art Project" involves SHA Pottery students of the first semester. On their own time, they constructed stoneware bowls, fired them in our kilns, and glazed them with lead-free, food-safe, oven-proof glazes. These will be donated to the "Empty Bowls Project." This event will be held in May at the Burchfield-Penney Art Center with proceeds going directly to the Food Bank of WNY, as well as City Mission. More information will follow.
BISSNET Art Show
March has been a very busy month for SHA Art Students. They participated in the BISSNET Art Show at Villa Maria College's Student Center on March 15-18.
