Six SHA Golfers Compete in All-Catholics; 3 Qualify for States

On Sunday, September 30, a cool and windy day, six members of SHA's Golf Team competed in All-Catholics at Rothland Golf Course.

Kayla Burt came in second with an impressive score of 80 that included seven consecutive one-putts.  Victoria Parker shot an 84 for fourth place.  Sarah Notaro and Emily Connors tied with an 88 forcing a playoff on the 9th hole.  Only one SHA golfer could win, and it was Sarah with a bogey five. Unfortunately her teammate Emily did not qualify for States although she was deserving of the honor.

So Sacred Heart will send three golfers to the State Tournament in June 2013:  Kayla Burt, Victoria Parker, and Sarah Notaro.
