The Complete Works of William Shakespeare at SHA

Shakespeare came to SHA on April 1 and 2!  Sacred Heart’s Spring drama was The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged).  Don’t be fooled by the title.  This was not your average Shakespeare.  Oh, there was a little iambic pentameter; but the rest was pure laughs.  The Complete Works of Shakespeare  (Abridged) turned out to be a funny, goofy, irreverent look at all of the Bard’s plays in just under 90 minutes. 

The cast, which included Samantha Basile, Jessica Biniszkiewicz, Ally Costanza, Carrie Deck, Emily Dempsey, Imani-Lauren Dennis Apparicio, Veronica Grande, Kat Hague,  Vermonica James, Katie Kaiser, Maria Melchiorre, Jordanne Miller, Gina Pawlowski, Alex Saleh, Brittany Sedor, Grace Trimper, Julia Winnie, and Gabby Zemer, had a lot of fun interpreting Shakespeare’s greatest works.  Thank you, Mrs. Szalach for your capable direction!

The cast did the rap version of Othello, performed Hamlet in 5 seconds, and reinvented Titus Andronicus as a cooking show.
