Transfer Students

Sacred Heart Academy invites qualified applicants with a current grade point average of at least 85 percent to apply for admission as a transfer student.

Step 1

Take a tour of SHA.  Individual tours are offered throughout the year, take approximately one hour, and occur during the school day (between the hours of 8 am  - 3 pm).  To arrange a tour, contact the Admissions Office at 834-2101 ext 311.

Step 2

Arrange a Shadow Day to see SHA in action on a typical Academy day.  You will be paired with a student in the same grade (either someone you request or who shares similar interests with you) and attend her classes, go to lunch, and meet her teachers and friends.  The Director of Admissions and/or a member of the Guidance Office will also meet with you.

Step 3

Apply to SHA by submitting:

  1. Application (Click here)
  2. Recommendations from
    1. your school guidance counselor and
    2. a math or English teacher (Click here for recommendation forms)
  3. Transcript of grades from the previous three years, including any standardized testing, report cards, and HSPT test results (if applicable)

Prospective transfer students must submit all requested documentation to be considered for acceptance.  A family may also apply for financial aid during the application process.

Step 4

Notice of Acceptance & Financial Aid will be mailed to qualified applicants on a rolling basis.

Step 5

Register for classes.  A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to register within two weeks of acceptance.

Step 6
