WHY BUFFALO ACADEMY OF THE SACRED HEART?

At Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart (more commonly known as Sacred Heart Academy, SHA), we work hard to provide a safe and caring learning environment where young women are encouraged to learn, engage, serve, lead and grow. Our faculty and staff work hard to ensure that the needs of each student are met academically, socially and spiritually.

Educating young women for lives of critical thought, responsibility, compassion, and service has been the focus of SHA for 130 years. We are committed to ensuring that our students have the necessary tools for leading purposeful and successful lives in today’s world.

With a student/faculty ratio of 10:1, our students are guaranteed to receive a personalized educational experience. SHA students are encouraged to become active participants in their education and are given the personal guidance and support necessary for obtaining academic success and confidence. Furthermore, at SHA we strive to ensure that each of our students graduates with strong educational and leadership foundations, enabling them to excel in any college environment.

The Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and financial aid programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
