Graduate Profile
Sacred Heart Academy expects that upon graduation, each student will reach the following goals and objectives in her academic and personal development:
- She has the courage to attempt the unknown and face difficult situations.
- She is confident, with a belief in herself to be able to accomplish her goals.
- She is imaginative; able to create and to find solutions.
- She respects the thoughts and feelings of others.
- She recognizes the spiritual life and growth in herself.
- She has strong academic preparations for further studies.
- She is committed to a faith community.
- She is curious and creative, maintaining a curiosity about the world

- She is reflective about her choices and responds with maturity and consideration.
- She is capable and flexible; able to deal with change and the challenges of today’s world.
- She has met the academic requirements and exceeded them for NYS.
- She has developed a strong allegiance to the school community.
- She has developed a strong sense of her abilities.
- She has leadership recognizing opportunities to demonstrate leadership in self as well as others.
- She has developed communication skills, such as public speaking, which give her the courage to express her ideas and prepare her to initiate change.
- She has a strong sense of integrity (ie. what is right and wrong) and Christian values.
- She is motivated to make positive changes in herself, and in the world.
- She is committed to doing ministry (service) to the larger world.
- She accepts and relates to people different from herself.
